With over 300 students from 11 counties in grades PK3-12, Fuqua School has a reputation for academic excellence. As stated in our mission, the school strives to develop each student's "boundless individual potential" by focusing on his/her strengths and talents. The school also works to instill a passion for learning, to foster a sense of social responsibility, and to encourage the development of personal integrity. Our students are recognized for their ability to communicate effectively, think analytically, and demonstrate leadership in a variety of scholastic, athletic, and community based endeavors.
Fuqua School is a college preparatory school with an average of 95-100% of its students attending college. Since 2000, over $33 million in academic scholarships have been offered to our graduating seniors. With an average of 40 students in each graduating class, we are especially proud of this accomplishment. Additionally, our students are accepted at a wide range of colleges and universities, including such institutions as the University of Virginia, Virginia Tech, the University of Richmond, Longwood University, Hampden-Sydney College and the College of William & Mary.
