This site offers access to Readers' Guide to Periodical Literature, which includes full text articles from news and science magazines as well as academic journals for the last ten years.  Students can conduct either a basic or more advanced search in order to use the databases to the fullest.  To use this site, please click on the link provided here, and enter the User ID:  AWG33.  The password that you will need is available upon request from the Library/Media Specialist.

To access the databases on, you will need your local public library card number. Without the name of your local library and your card number, you will not be able to access all the features that this site has to offer.  If you do not have a local library card, please check with the Library/Media Specialist for a password number that you may use.  This is a gateway to databases sponsored by the Library of Virginia. On this site you can find magazine and news articles, encyclopedias and other reference works. has more than 100 trusted sources, including encyclopedias, dictionaries, and thesauruses with facts, definitions, biographies, synonyms, pronunciation keys, word origins, and abbreviations.
After 20 years of service, this site is now closed and is not receiving new content; however, it is still available for use.  The site contains links to many newspapers which contain current content and has an active search engine which can be used to locate a wealth of archived articles.
This is the online location for the Fuqua School Library.  You may search for books in the school's library by title, author, subject or keyword.
