Students should arrive at school no later than 8:30 A.M., when classes begin, and should report directly to their assigned classrooms. Unless their child is enrolled in the morning or afternoon Falcon Care Program, lower school parents should not leave their child at school before 8:15 A.M., as appropriate supervision is unavailable. Likewise, students who are not riding a school bus should be picked up promptly upon dismissal as supervision is not provided after 3:15 P.M. Students who are not picked up by 3:15 will be sent to Falcon Care and charges will apply. Middle and upper school students who arrive on campus early should report to the library or Gee Price from 7:45–8:15 A.M. Middle and upper school students who remain on campus after dismissal must report to the library and sign into the after-school program if they are not picked up by 3:15 P.M. This free program is available from 3:15-5:00 P.M. Monday – Thursday.
No supervision is provided after dismissal on Fridays and half days. Students must leave the campus by their usual means of transportation unless their parents/guardians have notified the school office that they may do otherwise.
For arrival/morning drop off and pick-up in the afternoons, lower school parents are to follow the traffic pattern as indicated on the map on page 73 of the handbook.
Lower school students are dismissed at 2:55 P.M., and are escorted to the bus, Falcon Care, or the Commons (for students being picked up by parents).
Parents of middle and upper school students who drop off or pick up their child must enter the school via Barber Street. All students are to be picked up or dropped off at the bell tour following the traffic pattern on the map on page 74.
Upper school students who drive to school should arrive and leave using Falcon Lane in order to avoid interfering with the loading and unloading of buses.
Middle and upper school students are dismissed by bell at 3:05 P.M.
