Early Learning Center

The Fuqua School Early Learning Center (FSELC) provides a positive educational beginning for students ages 3-5. The program is child-centered and geared to the individual learning needs of each student. Through a planned curriculum delivered in weekly units, developmental activities are provided in the following areas: art, music rhythms, story time, pre-reading skills, math skills, computer, outdoor exploration, wellness, and safety. Students attending the FSELC must be at least 3 years of age on or before September 30 of the year in which they enroll. Students may be enrolled on a part-time basis; however, preference is given to applicants enrolling for five full days a week. The FSELC is licensed by the prestigious National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) and the Virginia Department of Social Services.
