Annual Auction
Our annual auction and yard sale, Falconfest, is held in March in Gilmer Gym on the Fuqua School campus. We begin the day with the yard sale at 7:00 A.M., followed by the live and silent auctions beginning at 10:00 A.M. Concessions are available all day long. Over 100 businesses contribute new items to the auction, giving everything from Oriental rugs, furniture, mulch, baskets, concrete, and oil paintings, to Raggedy Ann & Andy dolls. The high quality of items in both the live and silent auctions have become well known across the region, drawing bidders from as far away as Richmond and North Carolina. Jimmy Carwile graciously serves as our auctioneer. |
