Curriculum

Core Subjects (taught primarily by the regular classroom teacher)

Language Arts, Math, Science,* Social Studies   

*The science curriculum is enhanced by a science lab program facilitated by a special science coordinator.

Special Area Subjects (taught primarily by a special resource teacher)

Instruction in piano is available on an optional basis for a fee for students in grades 2-5.

*All students have at least 30 minutes of physical activity daily (physical education class or supervised recess).

**Students in grade 5 participate in either band or special exploratory.

Note:  A school psychologist is on staff to provide tutoring to students needing additional academic support.
