Youth and Government (Grades 9 - 12)
Each year the Virginia YMCA sponsors a variety of programs to educate students on state government. Fuqua School students participate in the Model General Assembly (MGA) and the Model Judiciary (MJ). Through these programs, students assume the roles of state legislators (MGA) as well as lawyers and witnesses (MJ) to make learning come alive. Students are selected to fill the slots allotted to Fuqua School for these programs by a variety of factors including age, interest, and prior participation.
