Lower School Spanish - Kelly Shaver

¡BIENVENIDOS!

¡Bienvenidos a la clase de español! Welcome to Spanish class! I hope to enrich students' lives through their study of the Spanish language and Hispanic cultures.

Class structure

In the Lower School, students have Spanish class once per week. Here is our routine:

Entrada - Students always enter to authentic Spanish music.
Buenos Días  - A good morning song gets us started and helps us practice greetings language.
Calendario - We go over the calendar entirely in Spanish. Days of the week, months, seasons and weather are incorporated into the routine.
Pasaporte - Each week we "travel" to a different Spanish-speaking country. After we learn about the country, students get a stamp in their passport.
Actividad - Activity for the day (subjects and activities vary each week)
Adiós - After lots of songs, movement, creativity, and SPANISH, students line up to say "adiós" and go on their way. :)
