STEAM - Kathryn Jefferson

Welcome to the STEAM Lab!

Students in K-8th grade will explore STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Math) through real world situations and develop possible solutions using either the Scientific Method or the Engineering Design Process. The lessons are engaging and designed to inspire creatively, collaboration and communication with a heavy emphasis on the growth mindset.

Most design projects and prototypes are made from recyclable materials we collect throughout the year. After they have been presented to the class, projects are usually broken down to be reused again and again.
